Formerly Chief Financial Officer and Chief Investment Officer of the prestigious John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, which contributes in excess of $150 million to charity annually, he managed the Foundation's $4.5 billion of assets including private and public investments. As the founder of Westport, he has direct responsibility for management of the substantial investment portfolio of the Westport Senior Living Investment Fund.
